Tectonics IV is the capstone of the Tectonics sequence, integrating building systems, materials, structural principles, and environmental strategies. Organized into modular units taught by multiple faculty and coordinated with ARCH 5673: Design Studio VII-Integrative, the course emphasizes passive and active environmental strategies and enables students to analyze and incorporate mechanical systems in their studio projects to complement passive design approaches. Prerequisite: ARCH 5384 Corequisite: ARCH 5697 .
