Catalog description

Open to music education majors only. Effective strategies and techniques of classroom management will be examined. Outcomes include developing tools for positive classroom management, identifying reasons for student behavior, developing a plan to address student behavior, developing a plan for classroom management for large ensembles, implementing social emotional learning techniques, and utilizing positive behavioral strategies in a culturally responsive learning environment. Prerequisites: C or better in MUSI 4117 .
