Catalog description
The relation between forces acting on particles, systems of particles and rigid bodies, and the changes in motion produced. Review of kinematics and vector analysis, Newton's Laws, energy methods, methods of momentum, inertia tensor and Euler's equations of motion. Prerequisites: C or better in each of the following, MAE 1312 and MATH 2425 (or HONR-SC 2425); or student group.
