Catalog description

Survey of materials and resources in the design of the built environment in terms of aesthetics, function, and well-being. Exploration of construction processes, application, building codes, and life-cycle cost. Emphasis on understanding and specification of materials based on performance criteria and environmental sustainability. Prerequisites: Junior standing in the program. Minimum 2.8 GPAs both cumulative and within the major required.
