Catalog description

A professional development practicum for History and Geography majors that cultivates leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through active service to the department. Ambassadors represent the Department of History and Geography at recruitment events, assist with outreach and community-building efforts, and manage departmental social media. Students gain hands-on experience in event planning, public engagement, and digital communication while promoting the value of historical and geographical study. Prerequisite: 3.0 GPA in History and Geography courses, completion of HIST 3300 , and permission of the department.
