Catalog description

Continuous-time convolution. Fourier series and transforms. Frequency domain analysis. Applications of Laplace transforms. Linear constant coefficient differential equations, state-space analysis and transfer functions. Signal flow and block diagrams, Bode plots, stability criteria. Amplitude and phase spectra. Applications from control systems, communication systems and signal processing. Problems and numerical examples using MATLAB. Prerequisites: Must be in the professional EE program and C or better in each of the following: EE 2347 and EE 2315 .
