Fundamentals of fluid statics, kinematics of fluid flow, fluid energy, fluid forces, similitude, and dimensional analysis. Related to steady flow of incompressible fluids in confined and free surface systems. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in CE 2311 ; Grade of C or better in MATH 3319 or concurrent enrollment; concurrent enrollment in CE 3142 ; Permission of the CE Chair or Admission to the CE Professional Program.
