Catalog description
This course is designed for students seeking essential clinical and laboratory skills, while preparing for a career in health care. This course is a hands-on approach to learning with an emphasis on phlebotomy, IV insertion, suturing and basic clinical laboratory skills. Emphasis will be put on the physiology behind each skill and the interpersonal skills needed to interact with patients and peers. Prerequisite: BIOL 3442 or BIOL 3446 .
