Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamental principles and applications of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in neuroscience and clinical research. Students will learn the physical and physiological bases of the fMRI signal, experimental design and task paradigms, data acquisition and preprocessing techniques, and statistical approaches to analyzing brain activation and connectivity. Prerequisite: Accepted into the BE Professional Program with course grade C or better in BE 3346 , or consent of the BE undergraduate adviser.
