Catalog description

Introduction to Bldg. Information Modeling (BIM); discussions of the roles and impacts of BIM in the design process, energy assessment, and facility management. The course includes creating Bldg. elements such as walls, windows, doors, roof, ceiling, stairs, ramp, and structural and MEP systems. Course provides an overview of BIM applications such as daylight and energy analysis. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in AREN 1152 ; Permission of CE Chair or Admission of AREN Professional Program.
