Catalog description
Visual Studies III advances digital representation and computational design, building on skills developed in Visual Studies II. The course emphasizes advanced visualization techniques, including animation and interactive media, to communicate complex architectural ideas. Students then apply these skills in digital fabrication workflows, translating virtual designs into physical models and prototypes. Material, environmental, and structural considerations are integrated to support analysis, prototyping, and effective design communication, with flexibility to complement studio projects. Prerequisite: ARCH 5392 , ARCH 5692 Corequisite: ARCH 5693 .
