Catalog description
Credit 1. 1 Lecture Hour. In depth study of mammalian physiology, covering the endocrine, reproductive and developmental systems; molecular, cellular and hormonal regulation of various body functions, including metabolism, reproduction and tissue regeneration. Topics include but are not limited to hypothalamic-pituitary axes, gametogenesis and the principles of regenerative medicine. This course is offered in multiple sections taught by different instructors; students enroll in one section of their choice. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: VTPP 610 ; graduate classification in the life sciences; approval of instructor.
