Clinical rotation at the Houston-SPCA, emphasizing the veterinarian’s role in all aspects of animal evaluation and care, and the treatment of rescue and shelter animals; emphasis on diseases, disorders, injuries, and treatment needs of diverse species, and exposure to emergency response and high volume animal rescue operations. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the fourth year of the professional curriculum.
