Basic principles of epidemiology, public health, zoonoses and introduction to evidence-based medicine methodology, its application in clinical decision making; emphasis on synthesis of basic principles; application of evidence-based medicine; and epidemiological skills within the context of private and public veterinary practice. Prerequisites: Enrollment in the second year of professional curriculum.
