Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. Overview of ethical issues encountered by scientists in the conduct and dissemination of their research, in their pursuit of resources, in their interactions with the press and the broader public, and in the results and repercussions that arise from the extension and technological application of their findings; emphasis on developing vocabulary and thinking skills that will enhance ability to make informed, ethical decisions and communicating the rationale for actions to other scientists and the broader public. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
