Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Issues pertaining to the evolution and development of cities and urban regions; examines the socio-economic, cultural and physical development of urban areas; addresses contemporary problems such as racial tension, unemployment and poverty, housing, pollution and environmental sustainability, traffic and congestion, land use, crime, public health, and other quality of life issues. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification or approval of instructor.
