Immersive high-level surgical experience, refine clinical decision-making, enhance operative technique, improve perioperative management in cardiac and thoracic surgery, integrate into surgical team, intern-level responsibilities under supervision, participate in preoperative planning, intraoperative procedures, postoperative critical care, exposure to CABG, valve surgery, thoracic aortic interventions, lung resections, minimally invasive techniques, emphasis on critical care physiology, focus on hemodynamic monitoring, predominantly inpatient experience, round on postoperative patients, formulate management plans, interpret imaging and engage in procedural skills. Prerequisites: Doctor of Medicine classification.
