Abdominal Transplant Surgery

Catalog description

Credits 0 to 10. 0 to 10 Other Hours. 4-week elective; exposure to all realms of transplantation surgery, including the procurement procedure (donor) and transplants (liver, kidney and pancreas); postoperative care of the recipient, including ICU management; attend our pre and posttransplant clinics to gain a full understanding of transplantation medicine; multiple didactic sessions. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of year three of the medical school curriculum.
