Seminar exploring social science research on racial and ethnic identification and identities; includes the construction of racial and ethnic identities, identity development, the measurement of racial and ethnic identities and identification, intersecting identities, debates about the future of racial and ethnic identities and categories. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
