Molecular mechanisms underlying weed adaptation to environmental factors and management, including herbicides; theory and application of physiological and molecular methods in weed science and weed management; reading of journal article each week and participation in discussions; practical hands-on experience in basic molecular laboratory techniques. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
