Credits 3. 2 Lecture Hours. 3 Lab Hours. Management of various herbivorous large mammals, both game and non-game; development of knowledge on how to implement habitat and population management techniques to achieve management goals; history of modern wildlife management as it relates to the restoration and harvest of various species as game that once were imperiled; utilization of natural history information in the selection of the most beneficial management techniques and a survey of the techniques currently used in large mammal population management. Prerequisites: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
