Credits 3. 2 Lecture Hours. 2 Lab Hours. This course provides students with experiential learning opportunities in applied arts-in-health settings. Students will partner with local hospitals, clinics, community organizations or wellness programs to observe, assist and implement arts-based initiatives that promote health and well-being. Through guided fieldwork, reflective writing and faculty mentorship, students will explore ethical practices, program design and the impact of the arts on diverse populations. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in PVFA 370 , or concurrent enrollment.
