Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examines health care and health care markets in U.S. and abroad; topics include production of and demand for health, moral hazard and adverse selection in insurance markets, information asymmetries in physician-patient relationships, regulation and payment systems for providers, Medicare, Medicaid and other programs, and comparisons to other countries. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
