Survey of the major features of the legislative branch in Latin America; examination of the role played by legislatures in the politics of selected countries; studies of executive-legislative relations in selected countries; participation by traditionally excluded groups in legislatures. Prerequisites: POLS 206 , junior or senior classification or approval of department head.
