Credits 0-1. 0-1 Lecture Hours. The purpose of this course is to build on the foundation established in PHLT 101 by deepening students’ understanding of personal, academic and professional growth within public health. Students will continue developing self-efficacy, self-awareness and a sense of purpose while exploring topics such as leadership, communication, professionalism, career readiness and community engagement. Emphasis will be placed on applying academic success strategies, strengthening connections within the School of Public Health and preparing for continued success in upper-level coursework and future public health experiences. Must be taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Prerequisites: PHLT 101 .
