Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Philosophy of probability, including such topics as competing interpretations of probability, confirmation theory and the relation between probability and degrees of belief; decision theory, including such topics as utility and expected utility, causal decision theory vs. evidential decision theory and game theory. Prerequisites: 3 hours of core MATH and 3 hours of PHIL.
