APPE: Home Infusion

Catalog description

Credits 6. 6 Other Hours. Introduction to clinical pharmacy practice in the home infusion setting; further development of knowledge and understanding of the processes, procedures and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for home infusion patients; general and clinical operations, identification and training of appropriate candidates to receive infusion therapy and the initial assessment and ongoing care planning for patients receiving infusions; development of skills necessary to prepare products for home infusion therapy. Prerequisite: P4 classification.
