Credits 6. 6 Other Hours. Introduction to veterinary pharmacology and therapeutics and the role of the pharmacist in the care of animals; evaluation of the most commonly used drugs in veterinary care and relation to the use of these drugs in humans; fundamental concepts to provide pharmaceutical care to animals and assist the veterinarian and owner in the care of pets and domestic animals; emphasis on the selection of the proper therapeutic agents for use in various species of animals. Prerequisite: P4 classification.
