Drug Literature Evaluation and Patient Drug Education

Credits 3. 2 Lecture Hours. 1 Lab Hour. This course introduces students to drug information resources and the retrieval of and critical evaluation of drug literature related to providing pharmaceutical care. Principles and methods of drug education are presented and discussed with emphasis on development of informational materials and educational programs. Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite: P2 standing.
