Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Introduction to leadership and management activities within the health care system; analyzing problems involving time, equipment, funding, and human resources in a health care environment; emphasis on the role of the leader and developing problem solving abilities within a framework of pharmacy management; four pharmacoeconomic models, decision analysis methods, and measuring humanistic, clinical, and economic outcomes; emphasis is placed on skills to evaluate pharmacoeconomic literature. Prerequisite: P2 standing.
