Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. This course introduces the principles of self-care and nonprescription medications, herbal products, and homeopathic. Emphasis is placed on the problem-solving processes involved in the therapeutic evaluation, rational use and recommendation for treatment. An emphasis is placed on patient care and patient counseling. Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisites: PHAR 605 , PHAR 610 , PHAR 626 and PHAR 672 . Corequisite: PHAR 606 IPPE-II.
