Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. Public Health and Pharmacoepidemiology. This course introduces principles of public health and application of epidemiologic methods to the study of drug use and outcomes in populations. Measures of effect size and confidence intervals in observational research designs are emphasized. Assignments are designed to develop skills in applying analytical concepts to literature evaluation and clinical decision making. Offered: Spring semester. Prerequisite: Admission to Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
