Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. This course provides an introduction to the structure, organization, delivery, regulation and financing of health care. The history of pharmacy and the pharmacist’s current role and responsibilities as a patient-centered health professional are covered. Interactions with other health occupations are also discussed. Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
