Catalog description

Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. This course requires the application of basic mathematics and quantitative reasoning to pharmaceutical calculations encountered by pharmacists in professional practice. Emphasis is given to dosage calculations, compounding and dispensing of formulations. Interpretation and filling of prescriptions are also discussed. Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to Doctor of Pharmacy Program.
