Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. The course provides an introduction to pathology, pathophysiology, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry. This course introduces the basic principles of drug action and covers chemical properties, stability, solubility, mechanisms of action and structure-activity relationships of the major drug classes. Offered: Fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to Doctor of Pharmacy Program. Corequisite: PHAR 627 .
