Introduction to machine learning; use of Python programming to apply various machine learning algorithms to petroleum engineering problems; practical exercises to get hands-on experience building models with Python; introduction to deep learning; use of Tensorflow and PyTorch (two open-source Python libraries) for deep learning applications. Prerequisites: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
