Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. The theory and application of mass, momentum and energy conservation in petroleum engineering. Students will develop advanced skills in formulating and analyzing appropriate mathematical models for complex (multiphysics and multiscale) petroleum engineering systems. Applications include drilling fluid systems, production systems and enhanced and unconventional reservoir systems. Prerequisites: MATH 602 , MATH 603/AERO 600 and PETE 665 , or equivalent.
