Overview of energy resources and use with emphasis on long-term sustainability; considers fossil, nuclear, and alternative energy sources, electricity and transportation, energy conversions, energy efficiency, energy security, energy policy, and environmental impact. Prerequisites: PHYS 201 , PHYS 202 or equivalent, CHEM 107 or equivalent.
