Credits 3. 3 Other Hours. Explore specialized domains within personnel psychology through focused examination of topics such as selection, training, individual differences and performance appraisal. Read and discuss peer-reviewed literature to critically evaluate theories, concepts and empirical findings. Strengthen analytical thinking by examining contemporary issues and identifying future directions in personnel psychology. Emphasis is placed on deepening conceptual understanding and applying psychological science to real-world organizational challenges. Specific topics will vary across instructors and semesters. May be taken six times for credit. Prerequisite: PBSI 611 or approval of instructor.
