Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examine the major theoretical frameworks that shape contemporary social psychology. Analyze how classic and emerging theories explain social behavior, cognition and emotion. Evaluate the historical development, empirical support and practical implications of key theories. Engage critically with theoretical debates and apply conceptual models to real-world social phenomena. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
