Credit 1. 1 Other Hour. Gain supervised experience in the professional practice of clinical psychology diagnosis and treatment through direct service delivery at the Texas A&M Psychology Clinic. Focus on evidence-based psychological interventions, emphasizing cognitive-behavioral and third-wave treatments. Apply empirical research to enhance treatment effectiveness and learn to address common factors that contribute to the therapeutic alliance. Strengthen ethical decision-making and organizational skills essential for clinical practice in mental health settings. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: PBSI 608 or approval of instructor.
