Critical and transdisciplinary approach to the study of pain including an examination of personal and historical conceptions of pain, understanding of biopsychosocial mechanisms of pain, and consideration of sociodemographic and global pain disparities. Prerequisites: PBSI 107 ; PBSI 302 and PBSI 360 recommended; junior or senior classification.
