Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Explore the psychological dimensions of aging, including changes in physiology, memory, personality, emotional health and social relationships. Analyze how aging influences and is influenced by cultural attitudes, social stigmas and public policy. Examine late-life transitions and their impact on mental health and well-being. Apply psychological principles to real-world contexts such as clinical settings, family dynamics and media portrayals of aging. Develop insight into personal and societal experiences of aging across the lifespan. Prerequisite: PBSI 107 .
