Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examine human health, illness and recovery through an interdisciplinary biopsychosocial lens. Explore how biological, psychological, social, cultural and societal factors interact to influence physical health and well-being. Analyze topics such as stress, health behaviors, mind-body interactions, patient adherence and chronic illness management. Investigate how individual experiences and broader systems shape personal and community health. Engage with evidence-based strategies to promote wellness, prevent illness and improve health care outcomes. Prerequisites: PBSI 107 ; junior or senior classification.
