Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Explore the psychological foundations of behavior in organizational settings, with emphasis on evidence-based approaches to motivation, leadership, teamwork, job attitudes, organizational climate, workplace diversity and occupational health. Examine how psychological theories and research inform practices that enhance employee well-being and organizational effectiveness. Critically evaluate empirical findings and their application to real-world organizational challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of how individuals and groups function within workplace systems. Prerequisites: PBSI 107 ; PBSI 245 , MATH 140 , MATH 168 , MATH 142 , MATH 147 , MATH 151 , MATH 171 , MATH 152 , MATH 148 , MATH 172 , MATH 150 , PHIL 240 or STAT 201 ; PBSI 301 and PBSI 302 recommended.
