Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Explore major theories and research in personality psychology. Compare historical and contemporary models, including psychodynamic, trait-based, learning and motivational perspectives. Analyze how individual differences in attitudes, emotions, behaviors and cognition form stable personality traits. Examine the interaction between person and situation and apply assessment techniques to understand personality in diverse contexts. Prerequisites: PBSI 107 ; PBSI 301 and PBSI 302 recommended.
