Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Apply psychological principles to understand and improve adjustment across individual, family, school, work and community settings. Explore personal growth, coping strategies and wellness across the lifespan, with attention to cultural, relational, individual and social influences. Examine topics such as stress, mental health, relationships, identity, diversity and life transitions. Practice assessing challenges and promoting change through evidence-based strategies. Strengthen skills in psychological evaluation, intervention and scientific communication to support well-being in everyday life. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification.
