Credits 4. 3 Lecture Hours. 2 Lab Hours. Sedimentary processes (erosion, transport and deposition) from the coastline to the deep sea; development of estuaries, deltas, continental shelves, submarine canyons, fans; behavior of fluids and particles in boundary layers. Lab: recirculating flume, field and lab instrumentation. Prerequisite: Approval of instructor.
