Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Equilibrium and dynamic aspects of the physics and chemistry of such colloidal particles and macromolecules and the implications for environmental systems, relevant for organic carbon flux and cycling, fate and transport of pollutants, bioavailability of pollutants, or mobility of pollutants in groundwater. Prerequisites: Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Aquatic and Organic Chemistry; also taught at Galveston campus.
