Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Overview of interdisciplinary skills needed to solve real-world problems in the ocean environment; creation and simulation of complex, realistic models using multi-physics to significantly reduce human and material resources in the design to deploy systems cycle; discussion of the entire life cycle of an ocean system, from conceptualization, and parametric design to manufacture, deployment, maintenance, and end-of-life disposal. Prerequisites: Graduate classification; ENGR 102 , OCEN 300 , and OCEN 311 ; or approval of instructor.
